Osmius is event oriented networked distributed software. This kind of software used in System Supervision has a great interest in the software business market and in the academic and research world.

Osmius offers a realistic and practical platform in which these worlds can apply research and investigation results and that is why we have open collaborating channels with a group of universities.

Artificial Intelligence and the Event Correlation process.

The main aim is to reduce the amount of final events that an operator, administrator or supervisor needs to process to identify the root cause of a problem, doing it faster and on a more reliable way - even anticipating problems before they occur - taking care about the Service Level Agreements with customers.

Data Mining to find event occurrence Patterns

The main goal is still to reduce the time needed to identify problems. In this case we are trying to analyze events databases to isolate patterns within event occurrences.

FrameWorks and Patterns into Supervising and Monitoring Software

A pattern language used in this type of software and a MDA environment to generate new agents from functional and quality requisites is the object of this research line..
